Blazers player Rudy Trade Scenarios/ A Poll
Rudy + Money to the Kicks
Knicks Send Bill Walker.
(Remember we have to lose rudy quick, Mainly because we all know if the blazers want a bigger chance this year we cant of this depressed Euro trash sulking on the court and taking high spirits away from the team, Dont get me wrong i love rudy but lately he has been MORE than an annoyance lately)
Or perhaps when Nate Robinsons Trade Restriction is done in Dec the Celtics will trade him for rudy.
Or should Rudy Even be Traded, Your thoughts?

none of the above
trade rudy if you can get something reasonable back for him. a second round pick isnt reasonable, a lottery protected 1st round pick in 10 years isnt reasonable. a 1st round pick the team thinks would be top 20 is reasonable, as long as it doesnt have a crappy player attached. wilson chandler sucks

maybe he can move in with you
while he’s not being paid by Portland?
When reached 40 years of following Portland basketball you have, be as passionate of the Trail Blazers you will not!
Rudy needs to make up his mind if he wants to play in the NBA or not
If he does I expect him to show up to training camp and play and let management find an solution. He is no longer in our long term plans anyways, if he just realizes that putting in another couple months of work for us is going to get him into a much better position. If he doesn’t want to play in the NBA, he needs to make that clear, and I think it best that management release his rights. He did make a sacrifice to come here, he shouldn’t have to jump through hoops to leave.
As it stands, it looks like he is trying to circumvent the draft system, so he does not have to honor his rookie contract.
I'd rather keep Rudy
I’d like to see a line-up of Rudy and Roy in the back court. He, Roy and Batum can bring the ball up. Rudy is whining a lot but he’s a slick player and can shoot from deep all day. Maybe starting along side Roy would lead to more fast breaks and up tempo basketball. Nate’s offense is hell dull.
If the Blazers are gonna make a trade then they should deal Miller, Bayless and next years first rounder to the Wizards for Hinrich and their 2nd rounder. If things don’t come together for Rudy by Feb then the Blazers can deal him then and we’ll have a more than adequate replacement.
I’d then trade our second round pick to NJ for Brian Zoubek. We have bulk guards and swingmen. With the health uncertainties surrounding Oden and Joel, I wouldn’t mind having another big. But that’s just me.
Go Blazers!

You're joking, of course.
Chicago gave Hinrich away for “nothing”. We should just fire Cho now if he’s stupid enough to make that trade.
The Dude abides.
unless you dont wanna trade him
you gotta go for trading up, otherwise your just getting ripped off. We got him under contract for 2 year. he can whine and moan all he wants wont do anything, Blazers hold all the cards.
Is Cho turning down trades that improve the team? No, not likely!
Are the trade offers going to improve? No, not likely!
Is Rudy going to earn meaningful minutes as Roy’s backup? No, not likely! The team should give those minutes to WM & JB, players that are likely to have a future with the team.
The outcome here is 1) Blazers sell low 2) Rudy is obstinate and doesn’t show up to camp 3) Blazers are obstinate and have Rudy rot on the bench, perhaps with some small role in case of an injury 4) Rudy gets some run in an effort to showcase him at the expense of the players that are part of the teams future.
Teams know we need to move him so the offers remain weak and don’t improve the team. 5) Team suspects Rudy won’t show up and like suspension over a poor ttrade. I suspect team is leaning “rot on the bench” with a little “showcasing” sprinkled in.

Migraine extraordinaire
Rudy and herpes, the gift that keeps on giving. Enough with Rudy already. If he’s threatening to not play, creating friction on My Blazers!!, thats sounds like breach of contract to me. Kybosh his contract for conduct unbecoming, and send him home to cry on someone else’s team. We dont need this nonsense. We’ve got a season to prepare for and im itching as it is. This man is no longer one of us. He doesnt have the heart nor the testicular fortitude to " Rise With Us "
Excellence is not an act , it's a habit.
I agree
if we can get a bag of Funyuns for him, I’d be happy. His attitude sucks and he isn’t good enough to be making demands.

okay?
then what should Cho do? ride it out and let a player who is unproven in the NBA and has shown that he doesn’t want to be here become a huge distraction for the team a few weeks before training camp starts? The Blazers don’t need Rudy and they definitely don’t need this kind of drama going into the season.

rudy for rudy, straight up
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fi5PFI3rMTQ classic mr. show for my portlanders. i would trade rudy for taj gibson straight across or a nice bruising backup pf.
Of course you would
However there’s no way Chicago gives you Taj for Rudy. JJ perhaps.
I wouldn’t even give a first round pick at this point if I were Bulls brass.
I don't want to trade Rudy
But if that deal came up I would make it for sure.

This Andy Miller guy certainly likes to stir up trouble…
