Bynum out until November?
Gotta love that ESPN, lovers of the injury prone label for GO, even after the equally ridiculous history of one Andrew Bynum limit their critique to "Bynum's injury history is piling up".
But that's ESPN for you.

let's be fair
given Andrew’s history, there is no reason to call him any less injury prone than Greg

Bynum is on the 2 time defending champs, wasn’t taken #1 (or in front of a top 5 player), and has accomplished substantially more individually in his career than Oden. That might explain the difference in the reporting.
He gave their stars more bench time by pummeling weak teams in the regular season.
And probably helped get them top seed status. So easier games in the playoffs.
In Bayless I trust.

They could have drafted David Lee instead of Bynum
It’s pretty much the exact same thing.
I used to go by tominhawaii or tih. That name is dead to me now.

PTI (Simmons and Kornheiser) were pretty critical of him
I remember a comment along the lines of “he’s injured every season”. The pundits are noticing it, only as Jake says aside from some Lakers fans nobody ever expected him to be a once a decade big man. Even his high school coach was surprised that the Lakers drafted him at #10, arguing that they had failed to win a state title so why should he be instant NBA material. And he wasn’t, he needed a few years to develop but then showed very strong glimpses and stretches.

I know.
we get very little love from huge sports source. ESPN, TNT, stuff like that. But hey, you know, say what ever they want. Let’s see what they say at the end of the year?
“Oh, we were right! Oden is a once-in-a-generation kind of center”- ESPN
-Me: “Yes, you WERE right. Now, you guys are a bunch of idiots. The only thing you’re good for is broadcasting NBA games and reviewing highlights.”
“The Blazers are very good, and I knew they’d win. I always knew from the start”- Barkeley.
-Me: “…… Shut up…”
