Sixers acquire Songaila, Brackins from Hornets for Green, Smith
I'm guessing that there may be somebody out there that believes this means we're going to get Chris Paul.
And what is an out-court shooter? Is the bench considered "out-court"? If so, we had a player available who is known as a shooter and is going to spend most of his time "out-court" this season.

This trade is interesting
Because those are the guys (guy) we’d have gotten for Rudy.
Neither makes me very excited.
Anyone know anything about them?

The Blazers supposedly liked Brackins in predraft workouts, and he did well in Vegas
not any room for him on the Blazer’s roster, though. Similar to Dante and Luke in size/role
Songaila is a meh big man, but he would probably be a better option than Pendergraph to fill in until Greg/Joel are back
If you meant Green and Smith then someone else is going to have to chip in
When reached 40 years of following Portland basketball you have, be as passionate of the Trail Blazers you will not!
No I meant Brackens and Songalia
Brackens has a PF skill set, though, right? Just way undersized? Not sure that helps us at all.
Songalia is just bench filler (or was when I watched him), and I think he makes 4 or 5 million a year. Kinda silly.
So I guess it was probably Brackens for Rudy. Which would have left us with 3 undersized backup PFs with a total of 1 year experience.
Obviously I’m missing something, or this was just an asset grab.
