This Junk Drawer is in honor of tonight's harvest moon. It's quite unfortunate that many of us have no farm/garden to harvest.



As EK stated in the previous JD, the harvest moon is especially unique this year, as it falls on the same night as the equinox. This created a crazy light phenomena at the intersection of sunset an moonrise... which I totally missed. If you look at the national weather map, it rained on almost 3/4 of America today, so we are lucky we got to see the moon. I wonder how many JDs I can make before Roybot makes one? Did anyone play the videogame Harvest Moon growing up? It seemed super lame until you started playing it and figured out it was awesome. My question to you, my fellow junkers, is what does the full moon signify to you, if anything?
