The Suns health secret?
Well Nash's secret anyway, Diet probably has more to do with health than any training might. Oh and a good night's sleep helps too.

But Nash got back problems.
In Bayless I trust.

It's the weather I think. That dry climate doesn't aggravate swelling, and sunshine is a well documented aid to healing.

"Crush your enemies, see them driven before you, and hear the lamentation of the women."
and they stay at Holiday Inn
When reached 40 years of following Portland basketball you have, be as passionate of the Trail Blazers you will not!
Ugh...
….anyone else sorta tired of hearing about Phoenixs’ superior health mojo?
Not that I don’t believe training, diet, and numerous other applications can’t aid in keeping a player healthy..but bottom line…it’s a lot of luck and even more genetics.
If someone is fragile and simply does not have the genetics or the body to survive the rigors of professional play? Then you can throw all the diet, exercise, training, braces, pads, inflatable balls, stretching, non-stretching…whatever..at them and it isn’t going to make a difference.
Phoenix may have a very good staff. But they also might have a lot of luck, happen to have the right people at the right times….and quite frankly I’m just getting tired of hearing how superior they are to everyone else.
"Mother Nature started this fight, I think it's about time we ended it!"
I agree to a certain extent
I’m tired of hearing about it.
Especially when you look at two of the supporting factors of evidence:
1. Nash’s health at his age. Is this really any different than John Stockton?
2. Grant Hill finally being healthy. I believe the ONLY reason Phoenix signed him is because he was finally healthy. His last year in Orlando was very similar stat-wise to each of his years in Phoenix, with 65 games played (70 his first year in PHO).
I do think that Phoenix is very pro-active in looking at total body health. But most NBA players use dieticians now. Many dieticians disagree on what is “the perfect diet” for each player, because there is no proven right answer. And come one… Sleep? Weren’t the Blazers at the forefront of bringing in a consultant to help them rearrange their flight schedule to optimize sleep two or three seasons ago?
Phoenix does many things right. That doesn’t mean Portland doesn’t.
