Another wing goes to a team rumored to have interest in Rudy.
So Delonte West signs with Boston. Where exactly are the teams that are to come clamoring for Rudy's services? Watching Rudy play in Turkey was going to increase his trade value. Instead it convinced Danny Ainge to sign a guy with questionable judgment. Do you know where your mother is? Are weapons charges less inconvenient than a Euro with a sense of entitlement?

Not to mention ...
… it’s his second time around in Boston. Better to deal with the devil you know than the one you don’t.
Do you see my
avatar that’s what the devil looks like; Rudy really looks like he can’t even hurt a fly
another reason why “Blazers are Crooks”
the thing i like about West the most
is that he seems to play very well when the team is trying to come from behind, like he becomes calmer in stressful situations.
it’s too bad he seems to act up when things are going well for him.

Maybe some teams don't want to wait until september to finish their rosters
Maybe Cho is asking for too much
Nobody expects a Spanish Acquisition!
Boston had no way to trade for Rudy
they had nothing the Blazers wanted that was on a cheap enough deal to make it work, and they didn’t have a draft pick in the range the Blazers wanted either. So it makes sense that they would sign someone else once they figured that out.

I agree. They had nothing we would want, really.

three team deals
it’s time for Eomer (err, Rich Cho) to show his true quality
When reached 40 years of following Portland basketball you have, be as passionate of the Trail Blazers you will not!
It didn’t stop the speculation that Boston was a likely destination. If the plan is to trade him, do we wait until a team has an injury? Losing hope for a “drama-free” training camp.

first, Cho has to find a team who wants Rudy
then another team who has a low first round draft pick
then convince the other 2 GMs to play ball and decide on compensation
these are the kind of complicated proposals that Rich was known for, at OKC. Now that it’s September, the phone calls should pick up as GMs start getting serious about their rosters heading into fall camp
but yeah, a key player injury in the world championships could make a difference. Let’s just hope it’s not to Batum…
