No Crawford Talk?

Jamal Crawford has demanded a trade and there is virtually no talk (on BE) of sending Rudy and others for BRoy's boy, who would look great in a Blazers uni! I know he has a high price tag, but I think Rudy and Priz would be a good trade and Priz's contract expires after 1 year, so that would be attractive to ATL. Crawford would be a perfect fit as our 6th man. He could help get BRoy's mins down a little and Batum does not demand a lot of mins either, so there is plenty of playing time for Jamal. This trade works in the trade machine and even adds 4 wins according to Hollinger for all of you Hollinger lovers!

Wouldnt really work w/ Matthews

I see Wesley or BRex as our 6th man now.

I think less than 1% of us are interested in Crawford on the Blazers right now.

So little talk is the result.

In Bayless I trust.

Jamal

had a terrific season last year, absolutely, but the Blazer championship window doesn’t coincide w/ his likely, professional trajectory.

unless it's been aproved as a sure sign that we're getting Chris Paul ... er... do we not do this anymore in fear of getting fined by the league?

How would people feel if

we traded Dre, Przy and Rudy for Crawford and Bibby?

Bibby is 3 years younger than Dre and gives the team a 3 point shooting point guard who isn’t as good as Dre in his pass-first approach, but who can spread the floor with his shooting, while a combo guard rotation of Crawford and Bayless can be exciting, even though both look to score before passing, but then again, with Matthews, Camby and Dante in the frontcourt, I would imagine most of the bench scoring would be coming from the guards…

I'd rather eat maggots for breakfast, lunch, and dinner

than trade Dre for Bibby. Then again, maybe I just have an appetite for maggots.

Age ain't nothin' but a number

Bibby plays like he’s 40. Especially on defense. And I think Bayless and Crawford might get in an on-court fight over shots

Yeah

I like any trade that takes minutes away from Roy and Batum.

Blazers Broadcasters Mike Barrett and Mike Rice re-enacted NBA referee Scott Foster's controversial goaltending call on Portland Trail Blazers forward LaMarcus Aldridge, who was defending Oklahoma City Thunder All-Star forward Kevin Durant, during this week's edition of Blazers Courtside. Remarkably, no one was injured during the taping of this segment.

OK, that should just about wrap up the goaltending discussion.
