Blazers Bars in NYC... and the world
Hey, i'm just putting it out there. Like a few folks here, I live in NYC and love the Blazers. I'm going to buy the NBA league pass, but I also want to be able to hitemup at a bar from time-to-time too. Who's got the low-down on best (if any) Blazer bar in NYC, or baring that, best place to turn into a Blazer bar?
Extra points for bars in Brooklyn.
And, while we're at it, perhaps we should create a 'list' of best places to watch a Blazer game, by city. When on the road, why should one be forced to watch Rip City on a small 4th TV in a local sportsbar, volume on mute, well everyone else is transfixed by some meaningless NCAA "Championship Subdivision" matchup?
Word em up!

Great Idea

Loma Linda CA BJ’s is a great play to convert.

Isn't Loma Linda a dry town?
Still on the Rex bandwagon.

Loma Linda?
We’re neighbors! That’s a blazer friendly tavern you say?

not sure
if it is a Blazer’s bar or not but Eddie’s on Old Seward is/was a pretty good sports bar in Anchorage.
Thanks, that's only a few miles from my house i'll have to check it out.

Boise, Idaho
Anyone have a spot they like here?
I like Tablerock
But this will be my first Blazer season here since I turned 21 so I don’t know where has league pass. We should meet up for a game sometime!

There isn't one bar in New York but a bunch of us get together in Manhattan and Brooklyn
You can get on the list here:
We've been talking about that. Sign up and stay tuned.
Since it’s the Knicks’ home opener I think it will be hard to get tickets, but we’re figuring out a get-together.
DC: I watch at Ventnor on 18th in AdMo
there’s one other steady fan. They put The Pinwheel on the menu. Its the closest place with League Pass

Watched one game there
but with how late the games end I usually watch closer to home. Don’t want to miss the last train.
Great idea, I just moved to the Tampa Bay area.
Any other maniacs down here?

bay area?
East bay preferably? Anyone? Bueller… bueller?
Montclair in Oakland - possibility?
Maybe we can take over Crogan’s in Oakland’s Montclair district. They probably won’t swap out Monday Night Football or any Cal games, but otherwise I think we could sway them if they have the NBA League Pass.
Stadium Pub is a fairly big sports bar out in Walnut Creek that plays nearly everything. Too far for me, but they may have a Blazer game on

See, I need a Bedge t-shirt or lapel pin or headband
a couple times the last few years I’d be screaming at the tv and notice the bartender point at me and say to a new customer “that guy’s watching the Blazer game,” and fellow would sit down and we’d make small talk common among Blazer fans: “what’s Oden’s status” “will LaMarcus ever learn to trust his left hand” “shouldn’t Kobe be fitted with a shock collar that goes off every time he smirks” and so on. There is an uncomfortable moment when we ask where we get Blazer news. It is always here. It shouldn’t be that tough

This topic could be a life saver.
Going to visit the girlfriends family in November. One week in Sarasota and one week in Orlando. Any ideas there?
I'm in Brooklyn too
I was thinking about making this post myself.
I just moved here from PDX, so I’m not sure about any Blazers bars. I’m always down to meet up for a game. We should coordinate for the Knicks game, cuz that one is definitely going to be on TV everywhere here.
I’m in Park Slope.
Yellow Mamba FTW!
As I mentioned above, there is a New York Blazer group
