Considering David Lee is already out with an injury for 4-6 weeks, Brook Lopez is sitting out due to sickness, and their only other actual center left is an injury prone Tyson Chandler…
Also, I’m not sure what experience LaMarcus would get from playing in the worlds. Pau Gasol isn’t playing, and the only international big name that has made a name of himself in the NBA is the other Gasol brother, whom LaMarcus never plays against to begin with. Am I missing any fierce competition that Aldridge would go up against in the Worlds this year?

Exactly. LMA has nothing to gain except to get the talk show boobs like Kenny Vance off his case.
Those guys need to drum up controversy or they have nothing to talk about. LMA should stay here and not get injured this summer.
