Talking Blazers With Sekou Smith And Lang Whitaker

These two need no introduction: NBA.com's Sekou Smith has covered the Atlanta Hawks and the NBA for years and Slam Magazine's Lang Whitaker has been your favorite player's favorite writer for as long as I can remember. It was fun to talk Blazers with them and you'll notice right off the top Sekou is shaking his head at the fanaticism level among fans here in Portland, which always cracks me up. Apparently he's been catching some flak from Blazers fans for not being high enough on the team's chances going into next season. We get into a fairly extended discussion of the team's prospects going forward and touch on all the key topics: The hiring of Rich Cho, Greg Oden's health, the emergence of Nicolas Batum and a bunch more. NBA.com's numbers man and power rankings guru, John Schuhmann, guests here too, talking Team USA and more. Listen here. NBA.com's Hang Time Podcast usually stars Smith and Vince Thomas and the two have some great guests, like former Blazers VP of Basketball Operations Tom Penn.
