This is getting rediculous: Jamal Crawford to ask for trade...
Not quite sure what team would pick him up. ESPN Source

Maybe him and Rudy can join forces to create a super team to compete with Miami
Get well Greg! Rip City is still behind you!
Rudy and Pryz for Crawford.
You think Atlanta would go for that?
him and roy are buddy buddies though

logjam, and I'd rather have Pryz for the playoffs
You can measure skill and talent with your eyes, but productivity is shown through statistics.
I would love to have Crawford on this team.
He is the PERFECT bench scorer. Not only would he replace Rudy’s scoring but he brings other things to the table (mainly another ball handler/guy we can go to in late game situations).
That being said as much as I love Crawford and the Seattle connection is there, this whole thing needs to stop. As much as I dislike the way Stern runs this league this is no better.

I don't think so
Matthews already fits the role better. He plays infinitely better defense then Jamal, who is not known as a hustle player & I think Matthews has the upside to be the kind of shooter that Jamal is now.
Moment of clarity
Crawford is a good passer though.
He also throws a pretty good entry pass (at least he did way back in NY). He might be a better fit than Bayless with Roy and you could probably pair him with Matthews and Camby in the second unit and have a good defensive/offensive balance.
His contract is awful, but he’s so much better than Rudy ever was. (I said that a year ago and people made fun of me) It would be a nice positive addition if we could work it out somehow. Right now I don’t know if there is someone you could actually run the offense through in the second unit. Crawford might be that guy.

How do you explain this to Wesley Matthews
and how does Cho explain to Paul Allen that he just traded for a guy who will play the same role we just spent some awefully big money for in terms of the role he will play(still a much better deal then Jamal who is much much older/doesn’t fit our teams new readjusted window)
Moment of clarity
You would have to explain it to Bayless not Matthews.

It's a huge logjam that we don't need.
We have an 8-man rotation right now.

Not really.
Crawford-Johnson-Williams-Smith-Horford
That was Atlanta’s second most used unit last season. There’s no reason you couldn’t have Crawford and Matthews split the minutes that were given to Bayless, Rudy, and Webster last year.

Hmmm
You have to up Batums minutes to 30, at least to see what he can do. We just paid Matthews big money, to backup both wings. So he is expecting a minutes boost. If you want Bayless to improve I don’t know how dropping his minutes will do for his mindset, so if it was to work and Crawford/Matthews were not to @&$#% and moan, you would need to move Bayless, Rudy & to match salaries, Joel.

Leaving you with a lineup of
Miller/Crawford
Roy/Matthews/Crawford(Last two depend on the matchup)
Batum/Matthews/Crawford
Aldridge/Cunningham
Oden/Camby(Leaves us a little scarce at center)
I’m not sure we need Crawford’s scoring or his non-defensive mentality. Although it would be fun to watch for sure & at least Jamal is used to a slow paced offense.
BATMAN
Yeah, I'm not sure I would give up Joel.
Making the salaries match would probbably kill it. I’m not the biggest Bayless fan so I wouldn’t worry too much about him getting traded, but I would be afraid of not having enough big men again.

Where is this info coming from?
How can anyone trust this post?
Being a Blazer fan is not exactly healthy.
No worries.
Was just looking for a the source. I did a mini-search before posting this and didn’t see anything at first.

Rudy would be PERFECT for Atlanta
just saying.
I'm gonna be the only A-hole that owns a Nic Batum jersey that doesn't live in France. Awesome.
being how i'm in altanta right now, i wouldn't mind having rudy here
at least makes my rudy blazer jersey still relevent in a way…

primadonna athletes kinda make me sick of pro sports
they are close to being on an elite list among lawyers, cell phone salesman, used car salesmen, rapists, and jail blazers.
