We Play the Fakers 4 Times

Three of those games are the 2nd of Back -to-Backs for us...All three we have to travel. (Twice to LA)

The only other game, we play against them has us coming off of a whole week break.

The Fakers already seem to have very few Back-to-Backs, and the Trail Blazers already have far more travel than every other team.

Does it seem to you like the NBA gives them (The Fakers) every edge against us?

Considering how well we did in back-to-backs last year

I’m fine with it. We’ll show ’em how real teams play while tired.

Greg Oden ate my baby. Need money for body-building training so that I may take my revenge.

ITS A TRAAAP!

Im pretty sure we travel more than every team every year

Just based on our location in the Northwest. I don’t think that can be helped.

the L*kers should be saying

Oh NO! We’ve got 4 games against the Blazers! Hide the woman and children!

When reached 40 years of following Portland basketball you have, be as passionate of the Trail Blazers you will not!

"Woman"?

At first I assumed that was a typo, and that you meant to type “women.” But then I realized that you were obviously referring to Vujacic.

Who cares. Its just four times a year well beat the snot out of the defending champs.

and the “Only team that has a chance at beating the heat.”. Bring it on!

Compensation for Prior Complications

Last Year the Blazers had bad injuries.
This year we have no road trips over 4 games.
Last year the Los Angeles Kobes couldn’t dominate us.
This year they get the advantageous schedule.

Don't over think it.
Give Roy the ball.

My only concern is injuries

2 years ago when Bynum pulled Greg down in the season opener and injured him ala what he did this year in the finals to Perkins. Arizas hit on Rudy resulted in back surgery and a player never being the same and then Artest just happened to bang knees with Roy and tear his miniscus. Just another reason to loathe the L@ker$

by FlyinSouth on Aug 12, 2010 12:37 AM PDT reply actions

That's quite a catalog of Laker-caused injuries

I was born in '52, and I believe in #52. Hang in there, GO.
You too, Przy: everyone knows you're the heart & soul of the Blazers.

Win, Win, Win, Win

After one play today, Bayless walked to the sideline, picked up the garbage bucket that collects the extra basketball balls and then slammed it down forcefully while shouting. For no particular reason. - Ben

The NBA hates the Blazers and loves the Lakers.

They’ll do anything to put Portland at a disadvantage especially if they’re playing against a team like the Lakers.

by Aaron Sass on Aug 13, 2010 10:23 AM PDT reply actions

We'll play 10 games

… against the Fakers this season.

4 regular season games…

Followed by 6 playoff games (Blazers win WCF against the Fakers in 6).

Bwahahaaaa!!!!

Blazers Broadcasters Mike Barrett and Mike Rice re-enacted NBA referee Scott Foster's controversial goaltending call on Portland Trail Blazers forward LaMarcus Aldridge, who was defending Oklahoma City Thunder All-Star forward Kevin Durant, during this week's edition of Blazers Courtside. Remarkably, no one was injured during the taping of this segment.

OK, that should just about wrap up the goaltending discussion.
