ESPN Experts Collectively Predict 49 Wins, 5th Seed For Blazers

Royce Webb has tallied the results from ESPN's panel of 93 basketball experts and the Portland Trail Blazers are projected to be in the middle of the Western Conference playoff pack next season. --------------------- Portland appears to be a postseason perennial despite front-office turmoil and myriad injuries. And now, with the West in transition (below the Lakers), this season looks like an open invitation for Brandon Roy, LaMarcus Aldridge and Greg Oden to take the Blazers past the first round of the playoffs for the first time in 11 years. --------------------- The four teams projected to finish better in the West than the Blazers: Los Angeles Lakers, Oklahoma City Thunder, Dallas Mavericks and Denver Nuggets. -- Ben Golliver | benjamin.golliver@gmail.com | Twitter
