Cavalier fans wasted no time burning a LeBron jersey. Apparently they were cheering as it happened.
This all looks similar to what happened before with someone else --

useless now.
Lebron took a huge hit to his legacy by leaving Cleveland. Now even if he wins a ring “it’s only because he had Wade and Bosh”.
When was the last time a team won the title with one superstar?
The “he only won this because of this guy” arguments are stupid.

I'm not saying I agree with the sentiment.
But when a guy who is the best player in the league leaves not only the team that drafted him but his hometown team (or close enough) as well to go to a team that SHOULD win in many people’s eyes that is going to hurt his long term legacy.
It will no longer be Lebron, one of the all time greats led his team to a championship, but Lebron, Wade and Bosh won a championship together. Assuming they win and get contributions from all 3 doing so.
I agree with your first point
But I think multiple titles with 2 other HoF players will mean a lot more than one title you single-handedly won.
But this is all banking on the assumption that the Heat will dominate the league for the next decade. If they win no more than 2, it will hurt LBJ.

Olajuwon only won because of Drexler.

MJ proved he was a hack by not winning a title on D.C.
Pippen was the leader!

if i had a blake jersey
or any other former blazer who left portland i would never burn their jerseys. the name on the front comes before the name on the back. and im just cheap all around. maybe if it was an all star jersey because thats all about the player, but the team comes first

what if blake had an hour long special on espn
where he trashes the blazers for 40 minutes, then announces how awesome he thinks the lakers are
Michael Jordan is the Nicolas Batum of America

I get why they are so angry...
and really it makes sense.
LBJ has done nothing but teased them around for months. He has shown no respect towards towards his fans, and to his team.
