Patty Mills Dominates Argentina as Summer League Looms
Knowing that most Blazers fans wouldn't get a chance to see him play, I did a write-up on Patty Mills' last game before he'll play in the Blazers' Summer League squad. I thought it would give people an idea of his form coming into Summer League.
The game (Australia vs Argentina) was televised here In Australia.
It was played a few days ago and Patty was spectacular-
If anyone has any questions for an Aussie Blazers fan with a little extra insight into the second-year guard, let me know.
I've never been so excited for Summer League to start!
How embarrassing.

Will do...
I only just stumbled upon Blazers Edge, having been a long-distance fan of the Blazers for years.
After Summer League, Mills will be back with the Australian National Team immediately. I’ll keep everyone updated with his progress and form throughout the offseason.
I’ve followed his progress for a number of years now and Patty Mills combines my passion (the NBA) with some proximity (a local player to get behind).
With that in mind, I’ll try my best to present things in an objective, non-schoolgirl-crush kind of way.
Good
Good Piece!!!! Definitely will look out for your future posts…Keep it up
I'd like to see Mills against Aaron Brooks; might have to watch in slo-mo!
Mills best hope is to be cut by Blazers (not signed after summer league) and then get invited to training camp with a team that plays a lot faster and a coach who will appreciate how a fast pg can totally disrupt the other team. I’ve not seen any evidence that Nate will provide a longer leash for a pg to develop and grow. That applied to Sergio, but he had a good shot with the Knicks and couldn’t take advantage as I’ve read he is headed back to Spain.
End the controversy
Trade Bayless and give the back-up PG role to Mills

I'd really like to see the kid get some decent PT.
Ever get the feeling he would light it up on another team? (Hope it doesn’t happen…)
Thanks for the writeup. I hope he'll fit with the PTB enough to make the roster all year.
