Summer League Has Begun
You can pay a fee to have access to all the games, but there may or may not be a cheaper way to catch the action. PS: At 4:00 PM tonight it's Evan Turner vs Derrick Favors. Favors is a very, very intriguing prospect.
Here is the schedule.

I see we're playing the Clips on the 15th
Anyone know if Blake Griffin is playing in summer league?
Still on the Rex bandwagon.

Sounds like it
And guess who Blake Griffin’s Clippers are debuting against? John Wall’s Wizards! 2009 #1 pick vs 2010 #1 pick.
Should be fun
Get well Greg! Rip City is still behind you!

keep us all informed if there's a way to stream these games
first Blazer action is next Sunday, at 3

well yeah, if you have Comcast
I’m talking about an internet stream

used to, it's a tale of woe
I wish I could say it was because of Coincast convictions, but last fall I told the wife to call them and threaten that she was switching to Dish so that she could wring a discount out of them, and by the time I got home from work the Dish dude was putting the finishing touches on a 2 year contract and he had the new receivers installed and everything
needless to say, I was not a happy camper that evening. (And, we haven’t been watching much TV since 24 went off the air…)
but I’ve managed to work around it re: sports. I saw all the Blazer games that I wanted to see online last year, at a much-reduced rate and decent video. All I’ve really missed are programs like Courtside and Talkin’ Ball, which is probably a better use of my time (and no great loss re: my Blazer knowledge) to not have to sit through. I’m watching MLB online at a savings, and if I’m not home I can review the games after they’re done and jump to the innings where my team scored and see all of the rallies in about 20 minutes instead of wasting time “rewinding” the DVR
So don’t cry for me. Comcast is still getting my high-speed money (we’re outside the Clear wireless zone, for now) but it does mean I’ll have to scramble next Sunday to find the SL stream. Fortunately, there’s BE to help us poor Comcast-deprived fellas out…

that was my first thought
I was hoping for a higher def stream, but it’s just summer league

indiana got a steal with stevenson at second round...
Geriatric Dunk Squad!
1/4/10 - Juwan Howard dunks on Chris Kaman.

3/7/10 - Andre Miller Tomahawk jams on the Denver Nuggets.

4/12/10 - Marcus Camby drops 30 and 13 on OKC to cement 50 wins. http://www.nba.com/blazers/media/camby_chant_041310.mp3
Semi-random question:
What do you think is the best (or at least most talented) summer league team of all time?
Because this year OKC has James Harden, Serge Ibaka, Eric Maynor, B.J. Mullens, Kyle Weaver, and D.J. White on it’s freaking Summer League team!
In 2007, we had Greg Oden, LaMarcus Aldridge, Martell Webster, Joel Freeland, Taurean Green, Petteri Koponen, Sergio Rodriguez, and Josh McRoberts.
Sort of irrelevant, but thought I’d just throw it out there

Serge Ibake just got injured...
Banged knees but looks like he’s kinda walking it off.
Being a Blazer fan is not exactly healthy.
Yeah he is owning right now.
Wish he would defer to Turner more but looks like Turner is having some trouble working off the ball and not putting himself in good position to make cuts. He’s 1/4 FG right now…

Just remember the two important ways that summer league performance predicts success in the NBA.
- is … ah … ah … ah …

Don't worry
no one here thinks Summer League success is an indicator of future NBA success

I don't know. If you'd read the comments here ...
you’d thought that Bayless was going to get a special exemption into the Hall of Fame after his summer league. And that Nic was the worst draft pick ever for the Blazers.
