FYI: MyPlayer Mode in 2K10=THE BOMB.

RPG+NBA=WINNAR.

For me, after spending 60 games with the Nuggets averaging 16/12/2.5blks(12min qts) as a 6'9'' hybrid version of Ben Wallace/David Lee, I'm now with my Blazers(one of only 3 teams to want me, EXTREMLY lucky) and blowing up the league with 28/10/2, at nearly 60% clip too boot. I am the bonafide oop master. I actually would like to defer to Roy and Aldridge more(i start over Oden, 40min a game) but how the game is setup you kinda need to take over a lot of times as the AI can be wonky(i.e. Oden dribble driving/shooting 3s).

Seriously though, this is a hidden gem in NBA videogames, I can't wait for 2K11's improvements.

My Player mode is frustrating

Definately has bugs, but even then it's pretty fun.

I play 12min qts so it really slows down and makes it a tad more realistic, plus you can save ingame so no worries on time constraints. I started like 3 months ago and I am just now playing my 10th game of the 2nd season. I made a 6’7’’ PG and a 7’5’’ Manute Bol type center, but just kept coming back to my 6’9’’ original guy as it fit my game more than anything.

It’s also a nice break from Association where you only have to worry about your game on the court, and not salaries, morale etc.

It’s also very cool to start out not being able to dunk or block shots, but now I can fly over guys for putbacks, or rotate super fast for weakside rejections. We have Kidd at PG and he is awesome on ooping it after a litlte pick action at the to of the key.

Yao Ming and other 7 footers bug me though lol, so I am very thankfull when I get put at PF. I just get capped too many times and end up forcing shots, also can’t oop much when they have such long arms and reach to knock it down.

Hopefully they iron out some of the quirks in the next version.

Yeah I am testing that out too.

I’ll take control of all 30 teams so they dont fuxxor the rosters by auto trading, and then i can mix and match and edit as I go. I wish they could somehow do an auto update thing with rosters WHILE you are in Association, but I can understand how the two worlds wouldn’t mesh(i.e. your Paul gets hurt, but the REAL Paul is not, or is on another team and there isn’t cap room in your game etc)

You do any other trades?

One of the most fun things was when I had Gwallace and did a run and gun style with Blazers.
