I wanted to share this with you because I thought you would appreciate it.  It's probably more suited for the JD...so I changed the name of the post to say JD (thanks for the suggestion hoodie).

This next one isn't even sports related but it is just flat out incredible.  This 60 year old weatherman pulls an NPH from How I Met Your Mother on Drew Carey and the Price is Right.  If you watch the video notice how the other lady's bid is within $500 of her showcase...generally an excellent bid.  There's also a great little paragraph about a guy who pulled off a similar scheme to the tune of $100,000+ (plus sailboat and trips) on Press Your Luck back in the mid-80s.  Hope you enjoy!

BEdge BrewFest Meeting

What: The Transcendental Brass Band (our own elgin's band!) plays from
3-7pm on Thurs, Fri, and Sat, Jul 22-24. We will meet at 2pm to drink and be merry in front of the ROOT BEER GARDEN...yes, since it will be the most unpopulated place and our younger BEdgers can join.

When: Saturday July 24th

Where: BrewFest @ Waterfront Park

Why: You can meet both elgin and southern oregon before you don't get a chance.  Just look for the guys with the AARP stitching
