Mavericks Make Trade For Chandler, Ajinca
Thoughts? Think this makes Dallas a little bit (just at tiny bit) tougher if Chandler can stay healthy.

Pretty good defense/rebounding rotation at the 5 spot.
Definitely makes Dallas a tougher team now. I am surprised Chandler is all Dallas could get for Dampier’s non-guaranteed contract, though.
"I think he’s been doing some good things. I think he’s been doing some good things. He’s had to play a lot of minutes lately with Blake being out. I think he’s been doing some good things." -Nate McMillan
Definitely allows Dirk to roam away from the low post. Without having slow space eating Center in Dampier.
Being a Blazer fan is not exactly healthy.
Saw that
Looks like Mark Cuban puts his eggs into the “countryman want to play together” Beaubois & Ajinca will get some nasty pick and roll game going together the next few years. Ajinca will learn from Dirk what it takes to be a “thin-big” in the NBA.
Or he is setting up a trade for them both to come to Portland because he wants LMA..
Silent Swagger.
I don't think it makes them much better
only he or Haywood can be on the floor at the same time. Definitely gives them a solid backup at the 5
To me – this was a"counter the Lakers" move – trying to get more size and length inside to contend with them

I think it's the best Cuban can really do for now
Though he could have gotten more for Dampier’s contract if packaged with Beaubois, possibly even a near All-Star. Chandler, Haywood, and Mahinmi give them a pretty serviceable low-post big man line-up, and Ajinça has some potential, but at the very least gives them 6 more fouls to use against us and the L*kers.
This move could just be a stopgap, too, since Tyson Chandler's contract is expiring and could be of value ...
at the trading deadline. Although I don’t believe Chris Paul is a likely candidate to be a Mav now, this still opens up possibilities down the line and shores up the team’s center rotation for in the meantime. Now, if Mark Cuban really wants his guys able to compete, he should do his damnedest to turn Caron Butler’s expiring contract and a 2011 first-round draft pick into Andre Iguodala.
Well you can't get too much for Chandler because of his "permanent" toe injury.
He makes a nice backstop but for 50 games or less.
