so this is the place all you can come and post your opinons on the rumored trade.

so far nothing really new has happened we all know the blazers were close to getting paul on draft for miller joel bayles batum and the 22nd pick and i would have done that in a heart beat but it did not happen so now we here that talk have been rekindled which i love to here it is not yet clear what the the specs of the new deal is and i want to know how much are you willing to give up to get him, do you include roy or not maybe give them batum sadly or try to keep them both i want your opinions

You can never have

too many CP3 rumors! Getting Paul is still in the picture, sure, I’d hate to lose Batum but in order to get Paul, I would do it in less than a heartbeat. To get the best PG in the league and not lose two guys that Paul said he would want to play with if he came here would be amazing and a healthy Oden.. This team would be dangerous next season if Paul is in a Blazers uniform.

yes cp here would be great…still need a better forward threat as well as a 3 point threat but we would be in the top 4 in the west…maybe top 2

With Paul we are no worse then 2

What would you add?

If New Orleans is shying away on this one, what do you guys think it would take to sweeten the deal? Maybe you throw in Rudy instead of JBay?

How would you guys tweak the deal to make it better for the Hornets?

I don't think we have to sweeten it

Just need to wait. I think they’re just mulling over the idea of what trading CP3 would do to their franchise. If the trade talks cease completely then we can think about what else to add.

The thought of having to part w/ Batum

is a ball buster. N.O just wants to dump salery so I think Aldridge (sigh) and Roy are safe. But if we are getting CP3 (can’t stand that nickname) I would pull the trigger in a heartbeat. Remember how fun it was to watch Paul and Roy in the All Start game. If we can pull this off watch out you purple and gold freaks!!

Would hate to lose Batum

The deal made more sense before the team traded Martel – at this point losing Batum, if no other deal was made, would mean Daunte or Luke starting at the three – wouldn’t be surprised, if the deal was made, for another deal (perhaps Emeka, Rudy or Marcus for a 3).

If there was any way the team could keep Batum, that would be great. Maybe overall it would make more sense to make a deal for Colison – could take back one of their bad contracts (Posey) in return.

Keep thinking about the deal to get Kiki in ’84. Kiki fit a need and helped balance the team, but in doing so they dealt Lever, Cooper, Natt and several draft picks – sure helped Denver – more then Portland in the long run.
