"There are a few teams you have to watch out for in the fourth quarter."
"Yeah, but Portland definitely is not one of them."
-New Orleans Hornets broadcasters at the end of the third quarter with the Hornets leading 74-59. Portland later ends up winning 97-89.
"They don't mind him shooting that shot at all. Rudy Fernandez is not that great of a 3pt shooter."
-New Orleans Hornets broadcasters right after a Rudy Fernandez missed 3pter. Rudy Fernandez finished the game with three 3pters on six attempts.

I heard you can trade him for Brandon Roy.
In Bayless I trust.

I think...
foye is one of those players that is just unlucky and get stuck on a bad team but once put In a good team he can produce as a well rounded role player. i think the blazers can so better tho

Didn't we already draft him?
It makes me feel all warm just thinking about how that panned out. Thanks for bringing it up.

yeah, we drafted him and then traded him for roy.
I think that worked out pretty well for us :)
Overall, I don’t think Foye’s a terrible player. This last year he was injured for a lot of the season and was playing on a crappy team. My thoughts on who I want us to add this offseason hinge on whether Bayless will be getting most of his minutes at the 1 or 2. If he’s primarily playing 2, then our 3 PG’s will be Miller, Mills, and Johnson and I’d feel a little better having someone like Foye on the team. However, if Bayless is playing backup PG, we should get another SG like Redick or Morrow.
"Nicolas! You're the strongest boy in the world!"
We should draft him for his acting skills alone
I mean, the way he dribbles around that 12 year old looks pretty convincing.
Sorry, pick up.
Like you said, we already drafted him.
If you look at 82games and the regular shooting & assist stats
You can make a solid argument that Randy Foye is currently a better backup PG than Bayless (atleast on the offensive end)
Foye has a better hands rating, better passing rating, better 3pt %, better ast/to ratio, better Per 48-Min Net PER.
Bayless draws more fouls, drives the lane more and many would make the argument is a better defender.
Gimmicks don't make dynasties
Bayless is also young and growing
I’d honestly rather have the offense in a little bit of disarray while he was in if it gave the opportunity to prove himself and develop his game. If it starts to look like it’s not going to work out, we can address the issue later.
well

Depends on the price tag
If we pick him up on a portion of the MLE, sure sign him to a one-year deal and see how he works out for the team, but if it means we get nothing else with that MLE worthwhile, forget about it.
As a Wiz fan...
Foye is worth getting, but the question you should be asking is how much would you pay to get him? His inconsistencies as a combo guard make him better suited to the backup role you’re talking about, but if you pick him up, do it on the cheap…
