From the chat with Armon Johnson today, he said he took the #1 because another blazer was switching his number to #23 and that was the number he had wanted. Any guess who would want to switch to #23?

that makes sense
Darius was still (sort of) wearing #23 when LMA was a rook, and you have to keep your original number for 4 years
Martell switched from 8 to 23 last year, now he’s gone. This year, it’s LMA’s turn to wear the short-timer’s number
and next year could it be yet another Blazer wearing #23? Joel Freeland?
When reached 40 years of following Portland basketball you have, be as passionate of the Trail Blazers you will not!
Just asked in the junk drawer.
fiftytwo said Rudy.
In K.P. I STILL trust.
Travis Outlaw fan from the beginning.
Rudy Fernandez is the Michael Jordan
Of Rudy Fernandez’s mind.
Still on the Rex bandwagon.

I bet it is
LaMarcus, he said it was someone switching back, so i guess it would be LMA if he wore same in college.
I hope I can get a bunch of championships, like 15. " - Greg Oden
Or Lamarcus Aldridge?

I bet it’ll be Camby. Aldridge wore #79 in high school. Camby’s been wearing #23 since his days in New York.
I bet you are right
I bet it is camby, he would outrank aldridge anyways, and camby will only be around another year or so and then aldridge can get it after him.

This indicates to me that Camby forced the Webster trade.
Disclaimer: everything I know about basketball I learned on Blazersedge.

NICE!
This made me laugh. And in a pleasant, that’s really funny sort of way. Not either the laugh of ridicule, or malicious laugh that I usually exhibit. ;-)

LOL
Marcus Camby was gaining energy again as the game wound to a close, much like a vampire sucking the life out of a dainty maiden. Amare Stoudemire, on the other hand, looked daintier and more maidenly with every possession.
sorry, that was to pualo.

Yeah good job by not following lebron changing and promoting others to change their jersey
no one needs to not pick number 23 unless the League offcialy retires the number
WITH ODEN ON OUR SIDE
I thought LeBron said that no one was allowed to wear that number anymore?
Isn’t James the boss of everything?
My favorite teams are the Blazers and any team that is playing the Lakers.
