Desperate for a Desperate House Wife... And her Husband too

Ha ha, now that I have your attention...

I think Tony Parker would be a great fit on the Blazers, the guy has been in the playoffs before and knows what to do when he gets there. The Spurs are blowing up the team after what happened against the Suns. And they already have 2 of the big three signed now (Duncan and Gi-nose-bleed). Parker is on his way out.  I believe he is attainable without blowing up our team.

I propose Parker for Miller, Fernandez and our first round for next year. Throw in others (Gomes, Pendy, Prytz, money) if need be.  I think this would be enough to get him. They need to shake things up, and so do we.

I know its always really exciting to get new players on draft night, but we are getting to a stage now that we want to have a cemented roster. We have had young guys, let them grow up and lock their places in. And then there is always the second round.

I would want to keep Batum at all costs (next to Roy), the guy is going places and showing how dominant he can be, even with a gammy shoulder. And never mind the Spanish Armada, when you could have the French Connection. CRAZY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And then Batum would have someone to talk French to, a new buddy now that Monty is gone.

I think that getting Tony Parker is a real possibility. As many of us heard yesterday on Courtside, Batum just recently taked to TP, and TP said he heard rumors of him comming to Portland and started asking him what P-Town is like. Instead of stamping out the rumors and saying "There is no way I am going to Portland", he is open to finding out. The other plus of this is we have Eva Longoria sitting courtside, looking real good when the camera pans around during game time.

So this would be the Line up for 2010-2011

Parker/Bayless/Johnson

Roy/Williams

Batum/Babbitt

LA/Cunningham

Oden/Camby/Pendy
