Real GM Blazer Draft Preview
Not a lot of new information, I thought this was interesting though:
"The Blazers have had such a successful draft track record because they ignore positional need when the situation calls for them to take the best player available.
This could lead them to select an Eric Bledsoe, Avery Bradley, or a Dominique Jones, whether it is by remaining at their draft slot or moving up. Bledsoe and Bradley are point guards equipped to play without the ball, a necessity to share a backcourt with Roy."

Oops sorry -
I just posted the same fanpost link…how do I delete! I even pointed to that exact quote.
This could lead them to select … a Dominique Jones
I take exception to this, if Rudy is indeed traded then DJ would be an obvious positional need
those other little PGs? not so much
When reached 40 years of following Portland basketball you have, be as passionate of the Trail Blazers you will not!
well Bayless is really a 2
so a PG ain’t a bad plan. ‘course, we might be getting the 13th pick, so we’ll see what’s available
if Jerryd is really a 2
then why would you want a smaller PG to pair with him?

You could always pair the smaller guy with Roy
and Jerryd with Miller. I can see Jerryd taking the bulk of the backup 1 and 2 minutes. Miller and Roy would still start and close out games, but one or both of them could be on the court at all times (which is the way we should play anyway, even if fully healthy).
I don't know
Both kind of sound like Bayless to me – more of a scoring guard versus being a guard that sets up others as their priority, but who can also score.
