cap move
salary shedding for the Warriors. Maggete has 3 more season at about 30 million total. Gadzuric is an expiring 7.25 and Bell is 3.85 next and 4.1 for 11-12, but has an ETO in between the two.
"I want to be traded to a contender" is almost always code-speak for "I'm a loser."

Awesome deal for both teams
It doesn’t make the Dub’s any better, but they’re rebuilding and can always buy out Bell after this season if they want to (assuming he doesn’t pick up the ETO), and Gadzuric’s EC will make them more flexible, and should be a great trade chip at the deadline.
For the Bucks, they get a tough defender and efficient offensive player on the wing. That will definitely make things easier on them if they don’t end up resigning Salmons, though they might need a shooter to pair up with Jennings in the back court. Xavier Henry, perhaps?
Bucks are...
planning for a future sans Salmons, who will walk this summer, probably to the Hawks to replace Joe Johnson.
If Redd comes back, the Bucks will score, but they will also give up a ton of points since Maggette plays zero defense.
I can almost like the warriors now
Just need to get rid of Monte.
I hope I can get a bunch of championships, like 15. " - Greg Oden
Looks like we're going to have trouble with the Bucks next year.
Darn Blazer killer. LOL
Treat people well because Karma can hit you at any second.
Those will be awesome games
Bogut and Oden going at it, Maggette v. Aldridge, Brandon and Brandon bailing out their teams…….
maggette will not be a pf for skiles
only one coach is drunk smart enough to try that.

let me know if he ends up playing more than 70 minutes next year at the 4
warrick couldn’t bust the rotation and was dealt.
skiles doesn’t cotton to weakness at the 4.
i think luc will get that burn in a small lineup before magette.

Hakim Warrick is a stick compared to Corey Maggette, who's capable of playing the 4 ...
on offense in spurts — even though he’d still guard the 3 defensively — while Ersan Ilyasova handles the 4 on defense and spreads the floor offensively.
I was just thinking that
it’s going to be nice to not have to see LMA have to go up against Maggete 3-5 times a year, whew.
not really.
SF is the easiest position to fill in the nba.
Every team has a SF that will get 14 with starter’s minutes.
is 19 suddenly worth 10 mill?

The Milwaukee Bucks were absolutely terrible at drawing fouls last season; thus, Corey Maggette ...
fills a need. Sure, Maggette is overpaid, selfish on offense, and lazy on defense; however, my bet is that Scott Skiles gets the most out of him.
Without Bogut the Bucks had nothing inside
No defense, no offense. Maggette can get into the lane easily. That is worth money for them.
Also, I wish we had a second player who even averaged 19. Our 11 mil player isn’t doing so.
"OK Kids! Who wants a basketball? That's why I love my Chevy Silverado."
Well, the Milwaukee Bucks defense held its own without Andrew Bogut -- which is a testament ...
to Kurt Thomas — yet, you’re correct that the team’s interior scoring took a hit without the big Aussie.
Even with Bogut healthy, though, the Bucks were never a threat to draw a lot of fouls, which has now changed with the addition of the much-maligned Corey Maggette.
