I don't post to BE often but I think there is an avenue that someone may be overlooking. Someone with more knowledge of trades and contracts feel free to jump in but here's my idea:
Dwayne Wade to the Blazers in a Wade-Roy backcourt sharing the PG duties. Wade can demand a sign and trade from Miami. Wade on a Blazer roster with a healthy Oden would resemble the Heat when they won it all a few years back with Shaq. Wade would be make the Blazers an instant contender. The trade could look something like this.. Wade and any junk the heat want to clear out, for Pryz, Miller, Bayless, and Rudy. Miami wouldn't walk away from this offseason empty handed, they would have some scoring punch in return in Bayless. They'd receive salary cap relief and be able to go after anyone they want next season.
Can anyone evaluate the viability of that trade scenario? Thanks..
