It is still possible the Nuggets will retain Warkentien, but he has requested to speak with the Trail Blazers, Clippers and Suns, the sources said. Warkentien works alongside Rex Chapman, the Nuggets' vice president of player personnel. Both men have contracts that expire at summer's end.
