i could be completely wrong, but to me, it makes sense that there has been no evaluation of KP. The reason I say this is because if you look at what he is good at, drafting, then why would you make a decision on him now?
What I mean is that even if you were planning on firing the guy (which I'm against, actually I am all for apologizing to Tom Penn and trying to get him back also) why not let him do what hes best at first? What is so wrong with having him make a few good draft choices before you fire him? or if hes going to stay, why make a decision now? To me it seems that if he feels on the ropes he may try even harder to keep his job. This could be a good thing. For one, if they wanted KP to stop whatever he was doing to anger the front office, then memo received. Also now they have show, that maybe, just maybe, it was not just posturing that he could be fired even with all the help he has given to this organization.
What do you all think?
