Sunday Discussion: Rondo for Real?

Stay connected for news and updates

Rajon Rondo has been having an amazing playoff run, backing up what has been a intriguing rise to stardom.  Still, players have risen to stardom and had fantastic playoff runs without garnering the credibility afforded singular superstars.  Carmelo Anthony comes to mind.  Good player?  Great player?  Certainly.  On the level of a LeBron James or Kobe Bryant?  Not in my book anyway.

We've just mentioned three prime names in today's league.  Where does Rondo rank among them.  Has his recent success put him among the ultra-elite pantheon of today's league, or even of all time, in your estimation?  Or is he somewhere short of that.  What are his good and bad points and where do you see his career going?

Tackle the issue below.
