Blazer fans support Portland Beer!
For some unforeseen reason Asheville North Carolina has a percentage point lead on Portland in this poll for the title of Beer City USA. Personally as a Portland resident and genuine beer fan, this is a title we deserve! Don't let some village of 75 thousand people on the east coast take our trophy. Do the right thing and vote for your town and your beer! If you're underage disregard this post and go finish your biology homework or something.

Ashville is a totally cool, very small town in Eastern North Carolina.
They have a terrific MFA program at the University of NC. It’s not far, maybe 60 miles, from Nashville, Tennessee.
Portland, however, rules in most every way, including beer.
That poll has as much credibility
as Iverson being voted to the all star team this year or Dominoes winning peoples’ choice as best pizza in Pdx.
portland maine or portland oregon?

Beer is liquid bread
Once you get out of college you graduate to real alcoholic spirits.
Treat people well because Karma can hit you at any second.
I'm in college now
Beer is definitely liquid bread. That’s why we students only drink it for nourishment (and because it tastes good), 8-11 servings of grains, as recommended by the USDA food pyramid . Wine provides the 5 servings of fruits and veggies.
When we want something for it’s alcohol content, we reach for Everclear or 151 rum.
You better watch it!
Michelle Obama may be changing the food pyramid!
You are going to need to find more alcohols made from veggies.
In Bayless I trust.

That's what I keep hearing
But, between school and Blazersedge, I don’t have time to look up the new one. So I’ll stick with the old one. Problem solved, lol!
try
Chimay Grande Reserve, St. Bernardus ABT, trappist westvleteren 12, either of the Pliny’s, or a Local#2 and you may reconsider.
Next on my list is BrewDog’s ‘Tactical Nuclear Penguin’

trying Westvleteren 12 is a difficult proposition
without a trip to Belgium and some persistence even then…
Bah!
The hops probably came from Oregon anyway!
