That article is a good glimpse into the bad old days
Funny thing is (I use that term loosely), that article was written well before the franchise it its nadir…
I was so pleased when BW, our resident nobel laureate,
turned down $36 mill in Sacramento, only to receive $5 mill in Houston instead. Perhaps he invested well, and bought Bear Sterns.
