Buck Williams in 1987 Nike Air Force 2 Commercial
This is a pretty cool old school ad. Why? Two reasons: it focuses on players that work hard rather than flashy dunks and secondly (and most importantly) it features Buck Williams!

you guys see the part where Buck pulls down the Goggles...
I miss Buck and his goggles, it seemed like everytime the goggles got pulled down a can of woop @$$ gets opened somewhere.

the strange thing to me about that commercial being from '87
was that Buck didn’t start wearing goggles until ’90, when he was hit in the eye during the playoffs (I can still see him writhing in pain on the floor, holding his face…)
Kareem and Worthy were wearing goggles, earlier in the decade

In fact, Buck doesn't wear goggles in this ad.
Moses Malone is the one with the goggles (grey top). Buck is the one without the goggles in the blue top. You correctly stated that he wasn’t wearing them at this point of his career.
