I just want to send a Thank You to all of you at Blazer's Edge.
Dave, Ben, Moderators and Posters and Fans, you all have been fantastic this year.
This silly little group has steadily turned in to the finest source for Blazer news and insight. Great coverage, insider news, up-to-the-moment coverage. Blazers Edge really is what modern sports media wants to be.
Seriously, every Blazer blog and print writer on twitter just gives up and links to to the BE pre-game every night.
I tend to lurk in the shadows and just read most nights (and mornings, and at work when my boss isn’t looking), but I am consistentely in awe of the steady quality that comes of BE.
Everyone seems to contribute and post amazing breakdowns and coverage that traditional media seems to screw up and no one, repeat no one, ever feels that voice isn’t heard or discounted.
Dave and Ben and all of you have done the one thing many thought impossible. You all have created a forum of honest discussion that everyone can join in on.
Your pride can be measured by every other SBNation Blog's envy.
Good work everyone and
Go Blazers.

You said it all
Thanks for everything.
Thanks for the information and coverage, and thanks for the good moments.
It was a weird season, let’s hope next one is much better.
Really, I'm just stunned.
I’m a Red Sox fan and I couldn’t imagine this kind of rational approach in the other on-line communities.
Those groups are like every side effect of steroids happening at once in a 14 year old boy.

As for the Blazers...They are officially the NBA equivalent of a movie serial killer

You're all welcome!
LOL just kidding. Great community. It’s been fun. Thanks you guys.
Treat people well because Karma can hit you at any second.
Yeah, I was wondering who would be the first to say that....
It’s part of what makes this place great!

What to do now?
Between this whirlwind of a season we went through and all of the great reads here to keep my mind occupied its been a fun ride. Next season will be here before we know it, better things are yet to come. Keep up the good work Ben and Dave.

Unlike most BEdgers, I don’t shovel down the soylent green like lemmings. There is a vast conspiracy within Blazersedge, the Blazers organization, the media, and the NBA to cover up an evil truth.
I guess I could just step in line like the neo-luddites here. Maybe I should write a fanpost in appreciation of jack booted government thugs, secret societies, and sleeper cells.

This site is awesome
and I appreciate the notions behind keeping it “family friendly” but as a suggestion for an improvement: if there is some way that BE users could decide what level of adult language they were comfortable with and adjust a setting to bleep out the words they weren’t comfortable with, I think there are a more opportunities to express ourselves, to articulate and just make hilarious statements with full use of contemporary language.
So, yeah, a little F-word use would actually make this site better, IMHO.

I appreciate the sentiment
but unfortunately there’s no way to do what you ask. Either we allow profanity or we don’t. While I’m sure you’re correct that some statements would be enhanced the sad reality is that the majority wouldn’t, as swearing would soon become commonplace, casual, and ill-used. At that point not only would the site be hard to read for anyone who didn’t like that kind of thing, even those who tried to enhance their statements with profanity would simply be lost in the crowd. It’s akin to saying, “A couple dandelions would look great in that corner of the garden.” You may be correct, but in six months…yikes.

Yeah, I know. You're right.
But if some G-PG-R-NC17 filter software becomes available, it would be interesting to try it out.
Thanks, Dave. I really like your site, your work and the breakdowns.

no need for profanity

Few things make me more happy
than reading blazersedge at work or in class, the best time waster/stress reliever/addiction the internet has to offer. videos of pandas sneezing are a close second though
Although I wield Profanity like an artist wields his brush...
..I agree on the profanity ban. I watch the games at the bars and get all I need there.
