I'm giddy with anticipation of tonight's game ... LIVE CHAT!
Anybody online right now? I simply can't think about anything else right now, and since I just finished a big paper for grad school and have that out of the way, thought I'd post a thread for a little chatting action. What are you expecting tonight? Where will you be watching? What else is going on? Anything and everything to help pass the time until the game starts in t-minus 4 hours 42 minutes ...

Thought on Amare ...
At first I thought his elbow on Batum was just a tap, but after watching BustaBucket’s video it looks like he really tried to ding him pretty good. I for one am glad Nic pushed him back. Can’t stand for that kind of crap. You can let that stuff get to you, or you can use it as motivation, and hopefully our guys are motivated to stick it to him.

What sort fo grad program are you in?
And where are you going?
I'm attending University of Denver Graduate School of Social Work.
I live in Colorado Springs.
I applied to Portland State but didn’t get in. I think maybe I was too average joe for PSU. I don’t know. Would have loved to have been back in P-town for a couple years, though.

Cool
I’m at Western Washington University in Bellingham studying Experimental Psychology.
There aren’t any good experimental psych programs in Portland otherwise I would live there. The plan is to move to Portland after graduation and teach stats and psych at a community college.
I love Bellingham.
I almost went to Western for undergrad WAYYYY back in the day.
I’m in a research class right now. Not really my cup of tea, but I do find social services research to be interesting at times … it’s the stats that get me down.

Bellingham is a tremendously wonderful place
I moved here from Pocatello, ID (the antithesis of Bellingham) and couldn’t be happier about it. Research is fun, but I more like it because it gets me prepared to teach, which is what I want to do.
I'm in kind of the same boat
Our family got some bad news today (it was sort of expected) and my wife and I both found ourselves talking about the game after a while. Sort of enjoying thinking about this as an escape for a little while.
Marcus Camby was gaining energy again as the game wound to a close, much like a vampire sucking the life out of a dainty maiden. Amare Stoudemire, on the other hand, looked daintier and more maidenly with every possession.
Sorry as well ...
And glad the game can be a bit of an escape.

How does that work on the computer?
Decent stream?

It would be super extra awesome for game 6 to be the game where we advance.
I’m looking at you Lord.

It's like the alternative Junk Drawer.
Except Dave didn’t get a live chat in last night, so got to keep superstitious tendencies alive. GO LIVE CHAT!
"[S]ince men enjoyed very great leisure, they used it to pursue many kinds of commodities unknown to their fathers, and that was that first yoke they placed upon themselves without thinking about it, and the first source of evils the prepared for their descendants. For, besides continuing thus to soften body and mind, as these commodities had lost almost all their pleasantness through habit, and as they had at the same time degenerated into true needs, being deprived of them became much more cruel than possessing them was sweet; and people were unhappy to lose them without being happy to have them." -Jean-Jacques Rousseau
(just sticking with the normal LIVE CHAT format, anyone can answer not just Dave)

welll my name is dave, I heard that they don't cause its easier to limit his mins when he doesnt start. but I hope he starts in the 4th quarter
Stick with Bayless imo
Let Brandon get warmed up against their bench.
Brandon, Miller and Bayless at the same time in the 4th.
we can still win........
4th qtr early
miller, roy, batum, webby lma
close roy, batum, miller, lma, camby
all depends on stoudemire
"Oh Yeah!" ~ Kool Aid Man
Nah, Roy comes off the bench
probably limited to 20-25 minutes.
Dave (or not-Dave)
For which player is a good 1st quarter tonight most important?
Aldridge, Bayless, Batum? Somebody else?

Can you also explain
the over-36 rule in regards to salary cap implications?
"It's Our Time":http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O99POVJfglY
I'd go with Aldridge too ...
But how would you define “good quarter”?
For Aldridge, I don’t need to seem him scoring as much as just getting active. Getting low, getting to the rim will be a good sign.
I think Miller needs to bring it tonight too. They can’t put Nash on Roy, which means he might be back on Miller. Miller needs to take advantage.

Im in the same boat.
I am a Sophmore at Santa Clara University, and I just finshed a 8 page research paper, and an Econ Midterm. Knowing that these games are on, keeps me going! I like to have bayless starting, going crazy with energy and drawing fouls. And then bring BROY in to drop points. Possible win of the season in the offering tonight!!!!
8 pages?
Mine was 10. Which personally I think is too much for any paper.

Barrett just told Canzano
that he’s talked with Jeff Pendergraph who would ‘love’ to get a piece of the action in regards to the Stoudemire drama…..

Forgiveness?
Not sure JP or anyone associated with the team, the fans, the city of Portland, the state of Oregon, or the entire Pacific Northwest is too concerned about garnering Suns fans forgiveness …
"These are dreams that we have." --Rudolfo Fernandez
Phoenix fans might do a proverbial Amare flop at the league offices
if anybody else touches him.

No way!
Suns fans don’t like Bayless and he’s actually from AZ. Pendy is from LA, no way he get’s a pass.

Bayless is always over there staring down the Phoenix bench after he makes a hoop, on the other hand
Jeff will smile and blow kisses to the fans as he elbows, “Mr. AdoreMe,” in the ribs. Who cannot get behind someone who truly enjoys his work? To me, that epitomizes who JP is.

What are you expecting tonight? a win
Where will you be watching? i’ll be in my bed watching on tnt
What else is going on? not much, trying to kill time. These games start way late out east.

Woohoo
just got banned from BSoTS. Wasn’t even trying, was just discussing their low attendance being due to their multiple franchises. What an open mind they have over there.
You don't think they will forgive you?
See bfan’s responce to my comment just above. Sorry but it is kinda funny!
21+52=
So how do you know when you get banned?
Does Steve Nash pop up to tell you you’re not welcome any longer?
"These are dreams that we have." --Rudolfo Fernandez
They are a communist regime...
Like China censoring google, BSoTS is a censorship machine… I’m sure they are already embarrassed enough about the fact that their fans leave in the middle of the 4th quarter to get the Denny’s AARP special before bedtime. They don’t need to hear that we have sellouts for 100+ regular season games while they can’t sell out a playoff game. They don’t need to hear that our crowds are deafening while you can’t hear their crowd over the collective buzzing of the 1000’s of ventilators and oxygen tanks their fans carry with them. They don’t need to hear that we have 2500 people show up to watch an away game at the Rose Garden. They don’t need to be reminded of the fact that we absolutely dominate every poll they put on their site.
They don’t need to hear any of that…and the RED machine keeps rolling…

glad to see you keeping the smack talk down to a respectable level
I love seeing Blazer fans at Suns games, though. It warms the heart.
Marcus Camby was gaining energy again as the game wound to a close, much like a vampire sucking the life out of a dainty maiden. Amare Stoudemire, on the other hand, looked daintier and more maidenly with every possession.
It seems like they just don't want us over there.
Even when I have tried to have intelligent conversations about our teams, they get nasty.
