When i didnt think i could respect Brandon Royanymore than i do he does something like he did tonight. Watching the halftime TNT recap i was kind of in agreement with Kenny Smith when they said that bringing him back was less than smart. I mean really, he had a bucket or two.....played limited minutes and you could just see he had little to no explosiveness.

On the other hand i got goosebumps when he entered the game, it was awesome.....Willis Reed came to mind in that moment. I at that point(halftime) was happy to see us simply in the game so i hoped they wouldn't play Roy much at all, shows what i know. All Roy did was make about 3 super clutch plays, he had the strip on amare down low late in the fourth as he came from the back side, he took the charge from Nash or Amare? I cant remember who exactly but it was a huge play, then of course the three dagger.

His shooting was off, he knew it and kept differing to teammates unselfishly. He knew he wasn't up to par defensively so he just made smart plays not athletic plays, he is quite simply a player who continues to amaze. Kudos to you Brandon Roy, wow you just keep making us believe. I hope you only get better as the series progresses you deserve it man! Tough games coming up but just seeing what i saw tonight was amazing, now my hope is that tomorrow we dont see any "severe swelling" reports for his knee. What do you guys think? If i am being a homer please let me know :)
