anyway, all this get-rid-of-Aldridge talk has us all thinking (as does his disappointing play). But I'm wondering if he actually a good fit for the Blazers....
It seems generally agreed that LMA hasn't been aggressive enough and is not the answer at PF; he certainly doesn't seem capable of being a credible #1 option at forward (a la Karl Malone et al.). Many here would love to trade him for Chris Bosh.
But maybe LMA is a *perfect* fit for this team *if* Oden is playing. That would allow LMA to play away from the basket and shoot his jumpers while Oden patrols/dominates the key. A lot of muscly PFs would be bumping into Oden, but LMA would uniquely complement him. Correct? Or not?
Bad thing is that w/out Oden and Roy, LMA can't be relied upon to muscle/force his way to the basket and points.
I'd love to hear feedback. But maybe I should post this elsewhere. thanks. Go Blazers!
