Okay, so like a lot of folks I was disappointed with last night's game and the night before that. Game 1 showed that we can beat this team, and since then we've just been choking. Miller, LA, and especially Rudy seem to have given up, Phoenix is running like a well-oiled hydrogen bomb and we can't seem to get a single call to go our way. A general impression of nervousness and lack of confidence is pervading the team's play. And that's the only problem, as far as I'm concerned. We can and have beaten this team before.
But the second half really did give me a little hope. I feel like the team showed they could come back, I feel like Rudy got his stroke back, and I think Bayless showed some real toughness and warrior spirit. LA got aggressive and got in Stoudemire's face, and I think that was a nice show that maybe he's ready to get a little ferocious out there. Maybe the team is regaining that spark they had in game one. If only either LA or Miller could have another big game, I like us to take the next game. I really hope Nate makes some adjustments, maybe giving Dante and Pendergraph some more time and minimizing Howard.
This is probably the most important juncture in this season. I'm not giving up, and I still believe this team can win at least the next game, and after that, we're even, who knows. Anyone else got some positives from last night to talk about?
