Noticed the not so subtle dig at Rudy...
Here he is after practice before Game 3 against Phoenix, the last Blazer on the floor, shooting flat-footed jumpers from various spots around the key, each released with the same stunted push release and all the grace of your dad playing Around the World in the backyard. This compared to Rudy Fernandez, the stylish Spaniard, who finished his practice session (30 minutes earlier, I might add) by shooting half-court shots.

Interesting read.. and since I’m not at the practises.. i’m left wondering if this is a one off event by Rudy.. or is it a pattern? I’m left to wonder…..
Great article.
It’s good to finally see Andre get some love from the media. I was at Game 2 (9 rows back kitty corner to the Blazers bench) and got to see Andre spend some quality time before the game with his shooting jumpers with his son, who’s just as cool a customer as his dad.

Nice Article
’Dre has grown on me ever since he has become a Blazer. Especially with Roy out he has shown he can step up his game.
I also find it hilarious that he once rocked sweat pants and a rusty GMC Envoy while playing in the NBA. Imagine Lebron doing that. You just don’t see that in modern times. Athletes with money spend like they have it and act like they have it. It’s refreshing to see a player like ‘Dre in today’s game.
