I've been around BE a while but joined this morning to post two questions. I hope someone can help, for one of the questions has been on my mind for a long time.

1. Does anyone listen to the games on the radio? I only hear ppl talking about the Mikes and not about Wheels and Tone. I don't have cable and can't watch, but I actually prefer listening to the play-ny-play on the radio. eg, if I am lucky enough to watch, I like to turn down the sound and listen to the radio call while watching. Does anyone else like the games on the radio? I'd assumed most would be tuning in, but after following enough GDTs, I realize most listen to the Mikes' commentary.

2. Shouldn't we be unconcerned if the Blazers lose out and fall to the eighth seed? It seems there are arguments for wanting to play LA in the first round (I'd prefer them over Denver), and with a worse record/seeding the Blazers get a better draft position. So what's wrong with eighth seed?

3. League Pass mobile app for iPod is only $9.99 for the remaining season and playoffs. If I purchased it, would I be able to watch Blazer games? I thought that if I lived within 150 miles of Portland the games would be blacked out, but I'm not sure. (I do live within 150 miles of course.) Does anyone know about this? Sorry if it's been addressed before; I have to access BE via my iPod, and it's not easy searching (even writing this is difficult).

btw again this is my first post, and I should mention the folks at BE are the best, classiest bunch on SB. I can't stand reading the GDTs of my other teams, such as the Mariners. Their fans just resort to the LCD and employ the most colorful and vulgar expressions as they whine and complain about the players who, eg, make an out. It's refreshing to watch the far more insightful and entertaining comments at BE.
