Don’t know what I would have done if it were to have won Best Picture. My faith in the “Academy” is already essentially gone, but that would have just been…unacceptable.

aweomeness!

pure awesomeness!

it’s about a roguish archeologist in a race against time to discover the Ark of the Covenant before the evil Nazis do! there’s fights, and snakes, and car chases, and almost sword fights, and fires and sneaking around and bolders and all sorts of other awesome things! it’s my favorite movie of all time. i love it.

If my calculations are correct, when this baby hits 88 miles per hour, you’re gonna see some serious [stuff].

But it has sword fights repeatedly.

So it shouldn’t stop you from liking a movie.

It's just hard to wrap your head around

Oh then I can't imagine you haven't seen Raiders

Actually, for that matter, the original Star Wars trilogy. If you like Harrison, you’re really missing out.

If it came out today and was a Summer blockbuster, you’d think it’s the best movie ever. You shouldn’t let the fact it’s from 1981 stop you.

by Timmay! on Mar 9, 2010 8:41 PM PST up reply actions

loveisrespect

by portlandgiirl91 on Mar 9, 2010 8:45 PM PST up reply actions

If you get in the mood, give Raiders a shot

No joke, Raiders is simply a good movie, no matter the time period. If the movie was released this summer (the exact 1981 movie), it would be as big as Transformers.

It’s a very timeless movie. It’s hard to believe it’s an old movie, it’s so well done.

by Timmay! on Mar 9, 2010 8:48 PM PST up reply actions

i wish they still made action movies like Raiders.

the first PotC movie was probably the closest thing and it had a lot of CGI. but action movies without a lot of CGI just aren’t that common anymore. at least, not action/adventure types. just a good old pulp magazine adventure story…..that’s what i want to see.

that's a tough poll....

except for the first option of course.

of all those, Raiders is the best overall movie.

but as a trilogy, it’s LotR so that’s what i went with.

Avatar doesn’t belong anywhere near that poll either. horrible Dave….horrible…should have put District 9 instead.

Last season we had Outlaw at the 4 who could shoot 3s, Blake or Rudy instead of Dre and right now Roy isn’t 100%. Since we got a pg it would make sense to run sets and take advantage of his passing some.

The trade is ok either way.

Blake and Outlaw’s contracts were up at the end of the year, and it sounds like KP wasn’t renewing them.

by Timmay! on Mar 9, 2010 9:21 PM PST up reply actions

Not really true

without Marcus there is a shot we don’t make the playoffs.

by GMan83201 on Mar 9, 2010 9:22 PM PST up reply actions

We could have likely made it either way

The other teams are backing off a bit. But this was an insurance policy and it looks like a good one.

From both teams. They should definitely go over film and check in with Synergy to try and do it every night.

We have Free Throw Guy, so it's been a season long trend for opponents

I was hoping for an offensive firecracker tonight. What we got were more turnips.

I’m not complaining. A win is a win… But a big 110-point lightshow would hav been nice. Freak’n Jazz put up 130-some.
