Don’t know what I would have done if it were to have won Best Picture. My faith in the “Academy” is already essentially gone, but that would have just been…unacceptable.
Cake or Death?
Go Blazers!!!
I am claiming Avatar. All good films, but if Empire Strikes back was an option i would vote for that. Avatar was just unreal.
Clearly Dave is baiting me with that poll
"In order to keep a true perspective of one's importance, everyone should have a dog that will worship him and a cat that will ignore him."
you gotta at least see Raiders.
you might like that….
If my calculations are correct, when this baby hits 88 miles per hour, you’re gonna see some serious [stuff].
aweomeness!
pure awesomeness!
it’s about a roguish archeologist in a race against time to discover the Ark of the Covenant before the evil Nazis do! there’s fights, and snakes, and car chases, and almost sword fights, and fires and sneaking around and bolders and all sorts of other awesome things! it’s my favorite movie of all time. i love it.
If my calculations are correct, when this baby hits 88 miles per hour, you’re gonna see some serious [stuff].
yeah right there..sword fights. not interested.

it had way way way more sword fighting than Raiders

It's just hard to wrap your head around
“I don’t like movies with sword fights”
“What about Pirates?”
“Oh, I like that! But not Raiders of the Lost Ark”
“It doesn’t really have a sword fight in it though”
“ehhhhhhh.”
i can do that
successfully

she did say she hadn't seen Raiders....not that she didn't like it.
and that the possibility of sword fights may deter her. but i think we’re wearing her down. she’ll see Raiders. right, PG?

Oh then I can't imagine you haven't seen Raiders
Actually, for that matter, the original Star Wars trilogy. If you like Harrison, you’re really missing out.
If it came out today and was a Summer blockbuster, you’d think it’s the best movie ever. You shouldn’t let the fact it’s from 1981 stop you.
yeah i hate watching old movies. honestly not a big movie watcher/

If you get in the mood, give Raiders a shot
No joke, Raiders is simply a good movie, no matter the time period. If the movie was released this summer (the exact 1981 movie), it would be as big as Transformers.
It’s a very timeless movie. It’s hard to believe it’s an old movie, it’s so well done.
i wish they still made action movies like Raiders.
the first PotC movie was probably the closest thing and it had a lot of CGI. but action movies without a lot of CGI just aren’t that common anymore. at least, not action/adventure types. just a good old pulp magazine adventure story…..that’s what i want to see.
If my calculations are correct, when this baby hits 88 miles per hour, you’re gonna see some serious [stuff].
i don’t see Raiders up there

Movie 1: Raiders of the Lost Ark
Movie 2: Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom
Movie 3: Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade
Legend has it there was a 4th movie.
that's a tough poll....
except for the first option of course.
of all those, Raiders is the best overall movie.
but as a trilogy, it’s LotR so that’s what i went with.
Avatar doesn’t belong anywhere near that poll either. horrible Dave….horrible…should have put District 9 instead.
If my calculations are correct, when this baby hits 88 miles per hour, you’re gonna see some serious [stuff].

I've watched enough games I've developed a tolerance
Barrett’s whining is more annoying to me personally. It drives me nuts when he gets nervous every time the other team goes on a run. It’s weird that Rice is actually more level headed, even though he’s called The Wild One.

In the playoffs Nate needs to work the rotation so Roy or Dre is always on the court. Good teams will force so many turnovers with Rudy or Rex handling it.

I do agree with Mike on this:
KP wants a “winning culture”, but the team is starting to build a culture of giving up leads. They need to find out why it’s happening and nip it in the bud.
I know this is a Groundhog Day comment

Roy clearly still out of rythm, but he looks like he has 80% of his explosiveness back.
What do you guys think?
He can be more of a playmaker
the problem is a lot of times the team still runs isos and the other guys play off him like he’s last year’s Roy. If guys move without the ball like Batum did on that last play he can be more of a decoy and pass.

They aren't as effective last year
Last season we had Outlaw at the 4 who could shoot 3s, Blake or Rudy instead of Dre and right now Roy isn’t 100%. Since we got a pg it would make sense to run sets and take advantage of his passing some.

Camby needs to be healthy for the playoffs, if his ankles, or anything else
go bad in the postseason, the trade wasn’t worth it. Otherwise, love the guy, glad we’ve got him.
Cake or Death?
The trade is ok either way.
Blake and Outlaw’s contracts were up at the end of the year, and it sounds like KP wasn’t renewing them.
Not really true
without Marcus there is a shot we don’t make the playoffs.
We could have likely made it either way

80% for his career. Normally reliable.

Now let’s do this against the really good teams.

Good free throw defense
From both teams. They should definitely go over film and check in with Synergy to try and do it every night.

We have Free Throw Guy, so it's been a season long trend for opponents
