you know what's missing in that clip?

the grizzlies finishing the game with more points. or the 12 shots that Rose missed.
ZBo rotated over to give help defense, something he never did in his years in PDX.
I like him a little more now, nice job Zach.

posterization is the dumbest part of basketball culture.

After this, will he continue to rotate and help on D?

I didn’t expect much after reading the headline. Zach plays little defense, I expected the dunk to be pretty emphatic.

Being a Blazer fan is not exactly healthy.

dude what is your deal with poster dunks?

you commented on another post hating on poster dunks, they are NOT the “dumbest park of basketball culture”, the dunk itself is one of the most exciting, if not THE most exciting, parts of the game of basketball, and a poster dunk just adds emphasis on it

you’re in a really small minority of basketball fans and players if you can’t appreciate a good poster dunk

why do you think the entire bench stands up when one of their guys beasts on someone? even the players get excited about it

maybe you should just watch women’s basketball, no poster dunks there

have you ever mentored kids?

if not, spend some time on the playground with kids.
kids up to age 14 or so will play one on one/21/etc. and one kid can lose the game 11 to 0, but as long as he attempted a crossover dribble, even if he bricks the layup into the bottom of the rim, the other kids will declare him the winner. children enjoy the immediate instead of the overall.
i’m not a kid.

What's your point?

Just cause you’ve mentored a few kids, you generalize that all kids favor the flash over the substance. I think you’re severely underestimating kids. They are smarter than you think. Sometimes kids just want to have fun. It’s what they do. They play and have fun. Lighten up and have fun once in a while. People might like you better if you do. And you won’t be so stressed out and touchy about everything.

i've never mentored kids.

i just go the playground and block the crap out of them since i’m no good against people my own age and height.

The point of that clip is someone dunking on dumbass ZBo

If you want to read a summary of the game, you can do that on any number of sites. I for one can enjoy the simple act of someone dunking on the poster child for the past jailblazers era. Lighten up.

Man, this is a testy thread

Sounds like we need a game soon. Less than 48 hours and the natives are eating each other.

Blazers Broadcasters Mike Barrett and Mike Rice re-enacted NBA referee Scott Foster's controversial goaltending call on Portland Trail Blazers forward LaMarcus Aldridge, who was defending Oklahoma City Thunder All-Star forward Kevin Durant, during this week's edition of Blazers Courtside. Remarkably, no one was injured during the taping of this segment.
