I know that there are numerous different points of view out there on the Diener signing, but I had to vent mine.

Good article!
I agree with the overall sentiment, I’d love to see Nate give him more of a look in regular situations. I was at the RG last night and my girlfriend and I were pleasantly shocked when he was put in with a solid 5 min left in the game!
He had one sweet – and I do mean sweet – drive to the hoop, and the entire RG held it’s collective breath as his shot twirled around the rim and juuuuuuuuuuust came out… we ALL wanted that to fall for the kid.
I hope he continues to get more minutes here and there. Would love to see what he could do if given the chance…
Finally 5 minutes +
I have been in Patty’s corner since we picked him up – but I have to say that was a pretty shoddy 5 minutes.
He put up a goose egg with 3 or 4 decent attempts and his on-court meeting with Roy was the worst turnover I can ever remember seeing.
FREE DEINER!
=)
we can still win........

The team could have (should have) cut Mills after he broke his foot.
They did him a huge, unexpected favor by signing him to a contract while he was injured. Not a lot of people saw that coming, including Mills.
He should be thankful he’s actually in the league at all.

I want to see
Diener, Mills, Von Wafer, and Dan Dickau stage a no holds barred battle royale for the 3rd PG spot. I would even chip in $7 for pay per view.
Holding out for Hedo

This is an excellent idea.
It’d come down to Mills vs Wafer in the end — fo sho.
