the magic number is 83, and we’re only at 82. We’ve only clinched a tie with the grizz, as have the thundersonics.

that's horrendous, and illegal under first amendment rights, I believe.

The redskins(I think it was them) tried this and got in trouble for it, so they had to just completely ban signs.

This is not a first amendment issue.

By buying a ticket, you are agreeing to a contract with the arena. As part of the contract, they provide you a game, and your rights are limited in certain ways. This is one of them, to my understanding.

It doesn’t mean I’m happy about it, but it’s important to make the distinction.

that's why I said I believe

cause I know entering buildings changes things, whether it’s for sports or concerts or what have you.

The First Amendment

protects you against government action (and in a few other “traditional public venue” situations). So far, the Vulcans are not the (Earth) government, so you won’t have a First Amendment claim for them silencing you.

aww man, season ticket holders are the ones who overcharge a grip

I bought on Craigslist because the online marketplace was outrageous!

I'm willing to go alone for playoffs though

So I should be able to get a single.

Yeah that was depressing.

The Rose Garden was absolutely electric, and then Yao Ming decided he wasn’t going to miss a single shot. Punk. Still cool to have been at the first Blazers playoff game in 6 years.

I've attended only 6 Blazer games in my lifetime

And they’ve won 5 of them. I will always remember the first game I attended, against Golden State back in 1992 or 1993 (can’t remember). But that was the game where Buck Williams nabbed his 10000th rebound of his career.

After the game was over, Schonz interviewed Buck right on the court, and I got to go down and sit in one of the seats near the sideline. That was my brush with Blazer awesomeness.

Porter, Drexler, Kersey, Williams, Duckworth. The greatest starting 5 ever.

They never lost when I saw them in the Coliseum growing up

They didn’t lose til I was a senior in HS when I attended, the 2/29/00 Laker game.

Just looked it up.

It was December 21st, 1992. My aunt bought me the ticket as an early Christmas present.

Juwan Howard loves Kelly Clarkson’s "Since U Been Gone"

It was hilarious, he was dancing on the screen.

Anyone else really worried about how pathetically quiet our crowd was all night?

I don’t think Blazer fans have it in em. Been told how great they are by Chris Dudley too many times. Now they just sit on their bums and golf clap.

We were playing the Knicks

In a non-competitive game. Don’t expect us to get loud.

We were pretty loud when warranted, like all those ally oops.

Roy’s dunk got a standing O.

Btw the decade highlights video they ran during one of the timeouts

Managed to exclude Zach , JR or any other Blazers of “questionable character” from the 00s.

JR Rider was traded prior to 2000.

I’m not surprised they attempted to accentuate the positive though, in general.

It was mostly current player highlights

Sheed plays and a lot of Rasta Monsta and Sabonis plays.

Man, Sabo was a beast in 97-98

I was pretty young back then so I just remember him being awesome, but this is his line for that year:
YEAR 97-98 TEAM POR G 73 GS 73 MIN 2,333 FGM-A 407-826 3PM-A 30-115 FTM-A 323-405 OFF 149 DEF580 TOT729 AST 218 STL 65 BLK80 TO 190 PF 267 PTS 1,167

Quite a few turnovers, but geeze, that’s a heck of a stat line.

yeah. that was undeserved. i know theyre trying to move away from that era, but z-bo shoulda been an all-star here, and he deserved a few clips.

damon and sheed got a decent amount of face time, but not enough for me (it was about the same amount as “DD” dale davis). the player formerly known as the k*be stopper got none. overall i ithought it was good though
