I was listening to the radio the other day and heard that Paul may have lost upwards of $500,000,000 while owner of this team. Immediately I started to feel that I should take some time to understand the man a little more before rushing to judgement on ALL of his decisions. Fact of the matter, none of us has lost that kind of money trying to follow this team. Sure, you might be able to compare % of income lost on the Trail Blazers, but still $2, $10,000 does not = $500,000,000. I want to keep KP as well, but I could find any excuse to get cranky in his position. Add into that his recent cancer struggles/chemotherapy and I think we need to give the man at least some support. Last time I checked, chemo can be hard on your mind and body.
Paul released a statement on supporting Pritchard for the time being, I think we should all remember this: "We all have the same goal -- to bring another NBA championship to the great fans of Portland." I suppose a round of ovations may have more sway with the man than a round boos at the moment. I could be wrong, but if I were in his shoes, that would go a long way. We got what we wanted, for now, let's back down a bit.
