Solid Thunder playoff analysis

Here is a link to Welcome to Loud City (the Thunder's blog site) on how the Thunder match up with possible opponents. I frequently read posts here on BE and haven't seen this type of analysis for the Blazers (at least not organized this well) and I like how this article is written. This is supposed to be the point where I say I'll be posting a mirrored article but I don't think I would do the Blazers justice. Anyway, just check it out.

True.

I have seen much better, more in depth, analysis of many aspects of the Blazers on BE. I have seen scattered individual’s analysis on opponents in people’s replies to posts. What I have not seen is the break down between our team and each plausible opponent in one fanpost. I could have missed it though.

“Why We’ll Lose: This team was built under the same philosophy as the Thunder, but they’re a couple years farther down the road. They’ve found a way to stop Kevin Durant, when they’re healthy. They’ve got one of the deepest rosters in the league. Literally any one of their players could step up and be the offensive X-Factor for them on any given night.
Final Verdict: This team has too much on us. We’d be able to win a few games going into a playoff series, but I really doubt the Thunder could win a series. Trail Blazers in 6.”

I read the whole thing.

Honestly written, well thought out. I do think they could maul the spurs though. Spurs in 5 sounds a little ridiculous.

I'm gonna be the only A-hole that owns a Nic Batum jersey that doesn't live in France. Awesome.
