Chasing Pack Game by Game Table -- Remaining Games
Sorted by difficulty, with road games against elite teams (top four in each conference) grouped together, then road games against playoff contenders, then home games against elites, home games against contenders, and road and home games against bottom feeders. Second of back to back games in italics, opponents on the second of a back to back in bold, both teams on a back to back in both bold and italics. The more games in the top part of the table, the tougher the schedule, the more white space up high the easier the schedule.

Projections
- L.A. 60.2 wins (up from 60.0).
- Dallas. 54.9 wins (down from 55.5).
- Denver. 54.2 wins (down from 55.4).
- Utah. 53.0 wins (down from 53.1).
- OKC. 51.0 wins (up from 50.7 in 6th).
- Phoenix. 50.8 wins (unchanged, down from 5th).
- Portland. 49.1 wins.
- S.A. 48.3 wins (up from 48.2).
- Houston. 43.0 wins (up from 42.9).
- Memphis. 42.8 wins (up from 42.4).
- N.O. 38.8 wins (down from 39.1).
Toronto wins to get back to .500. Recategorisations caused minor changes (< 0.3 wins) in the projections.
Tonight
- Portland @ Phoenix. Cat 4 "Rocky Road" for Portland, Cat 2 "Jawbreaker" for Phoenix.
- Houston @ N.Y. Cat 3 "Banana Peel" for Houston.
- OKC @ Indiana. Cat 3 "Banana Peel" for OKC.
- S.A. @ Atlanta. Cat 4 "Rocky Road" for S.A.
- Washington @ L.A. Cat 1 "Cream Puff" for L@kers.
If we win, our chances of top six, maybe top five, are very good. If we lose, it will be hard to do better than seventh.

that site is cool
Good stuff. I disagree about the loss tonight being killer to our chances of 5th-6th, however. Cause I think catching OKC is more plausible given PHX’s easy schedule.

OKC losing on the road by 20 to the pacers halfway through the third.
I think our destiny is in our hands, we have to win against these teams ahead of us and we can get a good seed.
Yes, it is easier to catch OKC than Phoenix
A loss tonight makes it harder to catch them, though. And it makes it harder to catch S.A. also.
OKC could still end up the 8th seed with us in 7th. Tomorrow S.A. plays at OKC, and if S.A. wins, OKC will probably become the easiest team for us to catch.

I think I'd take those projected standings
Can we just “freeze them” now and face Dallas in the first round?
and 49 wins is the number I like, same as 1977
When reached 40 years of following Portland basketball you have, be as passionate of the Trail Blazers you will not!
Your predictions were extremely accurate
I’ll go here instead of the stupid Accuscore thing for game predictions.

PLEASE STOP REC'ing THE DAILY UPDATES
they are presented EVERY DAY and rec or not, they’ll keep them coming.
Jscotjr has done a great job in jscot’s absence, but please stop rec’ing these posts, as they take away from other recommended fanposts and even Jscot himself asked BEdgers to stop since he consistently had 3 posts in the recommended fanposts area every week.
thank you, Jscotjr, for consistently putting time and energy into these and other posts, as I find your schedule ahead consistent & one of my favorite posts to read on this site.

LOL
actually, I just REC’d this to put it over the edge and get it in Recommended Posts just so I wouldn’t have to stare at “China fans’ reaction to Big Events of this season” a hundred more times. Frak, it got like 60 REC’s and 3000 comments… kills me since my posts average 1 rec and 10 comments.

or maybe it was "china fans' perspective about Andre Miller: he is the problem"
i got tired of seeing them both up there…
fine, I am officially the Las Vegas fan perspective on Blazer activities.
