Saw that yesterday
I think Kobe is just trying to praise brandon so portland fans will get off his back when hes up here.
Boom Boom Batum is the greatest Blazer ever... and has the best nickname of any Blazer ever!!!

Really?
I think they genuinely like each other.
Kobe is Roy’s hero and Kobe has to admit Roy’s genius on the court after getting schooled multiple times.
I don’t like Kobe, but I’ll guess this obvious explanation is more likely than some deceptive power play.
In Bayless I trust.

Kobe has had nothing but good to say about the Blazers and the players
it’s Phil Jackson who has taken a few cheap shots at us (in particular the city of Portland)
Get well Greg! Rip City is still behind you!
I don't think so. I think Kobe has a big brother mentality about Roy. Roy has said publicly many times that Kobe is his favorite player to watch and play against.
And even though I loathe Kobe, I’m fine with Roy trying to be more like Kobe. I would like nothing more than Roy to develop that killer instinct Kobe has. Also, Roy has absolutely shut Kobe down late in games before, and I think Kobe respects him for that. Kobe doesn’t have much to prove anymore. Guy has 4 rings.

Next year I would predict Turner or Wall for ROY
In the future Wall will probably be better but due to the 2 more years Turner played in college and because he is the more polished player then I think it may be an easier transition. Plus, Turner can play PG, SG, an SF all really well so no matter the team he should as many minutes as he can handle.

I hate to say it
But I like Kobe a little bit more now…only a little…
Turner rules.
