Either way, not going to be called. Tremendous shot.

Maybe a travel, but he does come to a full jump stop before he moves his foot.

It seems more like one of those step-through moves that people get away with all the time. At any rate, that’s not going to be called in this situation. Tremendous shot by B-Roy.

we won, yay.

but other than that, this was a TERRIBLE performance. Didn’t help that I was hanging out with this guy from DC part of the night. Every time I checked the score on my phone, he got all hopeful and stuff. He just kept saying, “whatever, Greg Oden’s a bust!!! hahahahah”

I wanted to dropkick him.

the Mikes are really starting to annoy me

Game winning shot and all they can talk about is how much time should be on the clock.

Mike 1- I saw saw it, it was .03 !

Mike2- Now they are changing it to .05, they can’t do that!

Mike1 Oh no! We’ve got the replay.

Mike 1 OK, .05 it’s a good call.

Whew. Just avoided another conspiracy. (and it was about .09 actually and with a travel)

by meatwad3 on Mar 20, 2010 2:12 PM PDT reply actions

well, it's kinda important

given Brandon’s 0.8 shot after all

by Section323 on Mar 20, 2010 9:09 PM PDT up reply actions

Traveling isn't about a number of steps...

It’s about picking up your pivot foot and putting it back down once it’s established.

Since Brandon came to a two foot stop… and had at least arguably… not established a pivot foot no travelling should have been called. So good no call refs.

There are going to be ugly games in a 82 game season. Shots are not going to fall. Other teams (no matter how bad their record) are going to hit some clutch shots and you’re going to lose to teams you should have beaten. We just won one of those games instead of losing it.

I really don’t think last nights performance does anything to predict future performance… good or bad.

GO BLAZERS!!!

by Ilikeemall on Mar 20, 2010 2:25 PM PDT reply actions

He certainly traveled.

If you’re calling his right foot his pivot foot, he slide it a little bit before going up. If you’re calling his left foot his pivot foot, he obviously took a giant step with it.

But I’m not complaining…

by pxilpooshr on Mar 20, 2010 3:29 PM PDT reply actions

He totally traveled - twice!

I don’t know what the homers are saying… he clearly traveled when he got the ball, maybe two steps of a travel, and he certainly traveled before the shot…

(He also obviously showed no confidence in not hitting Martell for the open 3…)
But we’ll take it!
