Taking Care of Business (3/19)
Well, I revived this a month ago, and in the meantime, I have been reminded why this is so good. People tend to take care of business this time of year. Other than San Antonio over-performing expectations the last several weeks, Phoenix dropping off a little bit (watch out Sunday!), and New Orleans falling through the floor, still pretty much on pace. Portland still projects to play Dallas, because of their tiebreaker with San Antonio. Next week, I’ll start projecting or pulling for upsets!!!
To remind everyone how this works, we take everyone's remaining games and assume the following:
Wins in every home game and wins vs. non-playoff teams from the East and non-Western contenders on the road. Now, I know that seems really goofy, since clearly no one is going to do that, but it's just a way of looking at strength and home/away weighting of remaining schedule and seeing where they put us. It also tells us where the Blazers may need teams to beat each other in matchups of playoff teams to help their positioning.

LA (1) plays either Portland (7/8) or San Antonio (7/8)
Dallas (2) plays either Portland (7/8) or San Antonio (7/8)
Denver (3) plays Phoenix (6)
Oklahoma City (4/5) plays Utah (4/5)

OH can we do that!
"I want to be traded to a contender" is almost always code-speak for "I'm a loser."

"after the jump"
Hi. I’m not trying to be a drag. But I got woken up at 5 on a Sat. morning by my 2 year old throwing a tantrum. So I’m sitting here on the can (sorry for tmi) with my mobile. And I wish I could convince Bedge en mass of the beauty of “the jump” when crafting fan posts.
First, so as not to be a total ass, I really sincerely appreciate the work that went into this post. Content (facts and stats) based fanposts are the lifeblood of Bedge.
I also know that the jump seems pointless on a full screen browser. However, in the mobile version of the site we get all the recent fanposts in one long screen. If you use the jump, what comes before it is on that screen, what comes after isn’t. Kind of like Dave and Ben’s posts on the home page.
To draw this closed, a nice place might have been after the projected standings. I hope someone sees this and maybe it’ll catch on eventually, for my thumb’s sake. I’ll Rec your post when I get to a pc.

Do you really think the L@kers are going to lose ALL 5 of those road games?
I think they’ll pick up 2 or 3 of them, losing only to San Antonio and Atlanta, and maybe OKC.
this isnt a prediction
its just if all teams “take care of business”
i.e. win all home games and road games against below .500 teams
