I'm cautiously optimistic that Oden not even attempting to come back this season is ultimately better. It's interesting how the article goes into a bit of detail about the surgery as well as how the injury occurred...or maybe this is old news that I missed. If his quad was strong enough to literally tear apart his patella, does that mean he was too strong? It's refreshing to hear more details from the training staff on the rehab process and progress, hopefully we'll get more of this in the future.

Thanks, but someone beat you to it.
Already a good discussion going on here in this fanshot.
Wearing the black band for Jarrett Jack, Ime Udoka, Fred Jones, Sergio Rodriguez, Channing Frye, Luke Schenscher, Shavlik Randolph, James Jones, Josh McRoberts, Steven Hill, Jarron Collins, Michael Ruffin, Steve Blake and Travis Outlaw. Sacrificed to the unmerciful god of progress.
argh
i dug through fanposts and didnt find itweird how the various fanpost sorts work (or dont) Thanks
no worries
but good rule of thumb here on BlazersEdge: If you come across ANYTHING Blazer-related out on the internet that is over an hour old – it HAS been posted here.
"I want to be traded to a contender" is almost always code-speak for "I'm a loser."

What also makes it hard
Is that folks title things based on what they thought was most important from the article, and it can have almost nothing to do with what the article is about.
Andre Miller is an Anachronism
yeah, i was going to add that fact but I had already hit post
poor titling is a huge problem.

this just in!
greg was seen today walking with a new cane that had a slightly smaller diameter. this would seem to hint that he (greg) is able to place unnoticably less weight on the cane and more weight on the knee walking around. great news!
Even better news!!
Greg Oden can do rehab for another 10 years at least. He’s only 21 now, so even if he is in rehab for the next ten years he’ll still only be 31! That is 5 yrs younger than Juwan Howard and 4 yrs younger than Marcus Camby.

20:25 update
greg is doing so well in fact that he has lots of extra time to work on his post basketball goals like doing a show about the city of portland.
he should be sitting in a chair, motionless staring at the wall until he can rehab fully
They’re trying to keep him in the eyes and mind of fans, do you think that he’s come up with a television show all on his own, and the team said “You know, we were really hoping you’d play basketball for us but if you want to make a tv show, then we’ll help you do it.” ?
I was blinded to that by sick alley-oops and facials
not to mention Greg crotchifyin’ suckas
